How to Book a Party
1. To check availability, fill out the form or send an email to acharmedaffairbookings@gmail.com
Please include:
-Your name
-Your preferred date and time
-Your party/event address
-Desired character(s)
-How did you hear about us?
-Any additional party details
2. Once availability is confirmed, we will send you a Party Contract and invoice for the $100 deposit.
Please note that your spot is not reserved until the contract and deposit are both complete.
3. After your contract and deposit have been processed, you will receive a confirmation email that your party is officially booked.

FAQ
HOW DO I BOOK A PARTY?
Contact A Charmed Affair by e-mailing us at acharmedaffairbookings@gmail.com. Parties are booked on a first come first serve basis. When a party date is confirmed, a non-refundable deposit of $100 is necessary to lock in your date. The remaining balance will be collected the day of your celebration in cash.
HOW FAR IN ADVANCE SHOULD I BOOK?
We ask a minimum of two weeks in advance. However, if you have a last minute need, feel free to reach out to us to check availability. We don't have a limit to how far in advance you can book. Even if your party is months away, we accept bookings.
WHAT AGES DO YOU ENTERTAIN?
Our parties are targeted to children ages 3 years old and up. We do understand that some birthday children and guests might be under the age of 3 years, and that's perfectly ok! Our package rates do not change regardless of the age of your child.
DO I NEED TO SUPERVISE THE EVENT?
Yes. We are entertainers and are not responsible for uncooperative children. We kindly ask that you monitor disruptive behavior and attend to any child who does not want to participate.
CAN MY PARTY BE HELD OUTSIDE?
Due to the nature of our costumes we DO NOT hold outside events June through mid-September for any characer EXCEPT our Swimming Mermaid. All other months we can do our 1hr entertainment outside if the weather is below 79 degrees and it's on a clean, non-grassy area.
SHOULD I TIP?
The gratuity is not required, but greatly appreciated! We recommend a standard gratuity based on the total party amount of 15% to 20% at your discretion.
WHAT HAPPENS IN THE CASE OF INCLEMENT WEATHER?
We're happy to reschedule your party for no additional charge if the roads are too unsafe for travel. We still want your child to have the magical celebration he or she deserves.
WHAT IF I NEED TO CANCEL MY PARTY?
If you want to completely cancel your party, you will forfeit the $100 non-refundable deposit. If you need to postpone your party date, we're happy to reschedule for no additional charge. Let us know as soon as possible and we will accommodate you as best we can.
WHAT DAYS OF THE WEEK DO YOU COME TO PARTIES?
We attend parties and events any day of the week. Saturday and Sunday are our most popular days.
WILL YOU COME TO MY PARTY VENUE?
Of course! We're happy to attend parties at any location, whether it's in a party room, a restaurant, or right in your own home. Please note that you will be responsible for any parking fees our performers have to pay.
DO YOU ATTEND PUBLIC EVENTS?
We love attending all types of events! Please email us to discuss the details.
CAN I HAVE CRAFTS AT MY PARTY?
We love it when parents provide crafts for their children! However, we ask that no activities which include glue or paint should be present while our performers are there, due to the nature of our costumes.
CAN I SERVE FOOD AT MY PARTY?
We support feeding your guests! We do ask that nothing sticky or messy be served while our performers are present. This will help us avoid stains when the children hug our performers. For this reason, we suggest the cake be served as our performers are leaving the party.
LIABILITY:
Please be aware that A Charmed Affair assumes no responsibility or liability for accidents or damages caused during your party to your guests or your property. Our performers will work to ensure that your home and guests are treated with care, however, liability will lie strictly with you the client.
